The Environmental Justice and Education Project is dedicated to bringing environmental education to local students in the Bay Area. Our lessons cover a variety of topics, including climate change, renewable energy, activism, Indigenous stewardship, and more. Our lesson plans are dynamic, containing a range of interactive activities and discussion opportunities. We connect with elementary students at several schools in the East Bay, planning lessons with teachers to build on their curriculums and add to our own. Our teaching events provide Berkeley students with a great opportunity to experience a real application of their studies within a classroom setting. We hope to educate younger generations about climate change and to inspire students to pursue environmental activism.
